Audio CD, February 27, 2001. This Opera Album is an essential part of my music library. It has all the most popular opera songs by the top composers. The record quality is good and I have spent many hours listening to this beautiful compilation. I just listened to this disc set again and it totally puts me into a peaceful state of mind.

This really is a remarkable collection, and anyone even remotely interested in opera is bound to be vastly entertained by it. Almost everything and everyone is here, albeit in small doses: Tebaldi, Pavarotti (a lot), Bjoerling, Bartoli, Sutherland, Solti, Karajan, Troyanos, Gheorghiu, Nucci; the composers are Puccini, Verdi, Bizet, and all the other usual suspects.
