Krzysztof Piotrowicz (1982 -) Piotrowicz performs Russian 6 and 7 string guitar music. He is Australia's pioneer performer of the Russian guitar. Polish born Piotrowicz grew up in Western Australia. Krzysztof comes from a family with a long history in music, both his father and grandfather were church organists, his grandfather also being a renowned music pedagogue in Wroclaw, Poland. His love for Russian and Roma music sees him also being proficient on the balalaika, a Russian folk instrument. Krzysztof is dedicating his musical career to have the Russian guitar more widely recognised
