PARIS REUNION BAND is a hard bop music artist. The Paris Reunion Band is a living, breathing tribute to the Paris jazz scene of the late 1950's and '60's in general and to Kenny Clarke specifically. It was Clarke who came to Paris in 1956 to settle and make music, eventually becoming the spiritual leader of all expatriate American players who made Paris the center of the jazz universe at that time.

The Paris Reunion Band came into being in August 1984, and was a celebration of the Paris Jazz scene of the 1960s. His passing was a severe blow to the PRB, and with the total agreement of Clarke's widow Daisy, it was decided that the project would continue with Billy Brooks on drums.
