Tito Paris, a Cape Verdean singer and guitarist, shows his explosive energy in this set recorded live at Club B. Leza. His guitar work and that of Ze Antonio is crisp and florid without being overdone. The mix of acoustic and electric guitar provides a pleasant textural change. The horn players stretch out, too, providing a solid wall of brass throughout the album. The percussion and drums pop continually and work some fiery grooves up and down the line.
