Jack Donahue (1804 – 1 September 1830) was a bushranger in Australia between 1825 and 1830. Known as "Bold Jack Donahue", he became part of the notorious "Wild Colonial Boys". Jack Donahue, sometimes spelled Donohoe, was born in Dublin, Ireland about 1806. An orphan, he began pick-pocketing, and after later involvement in a burglary, was convicted of intent to commit a felony in 1823. He was transported to Australia in 1825.

Jack Donahue: Strange Weather. It was, though, a mere prelude to the far more exquisite Strange Weather (PS Classics), arranged and produced by the perennially classy Peter Eldridge.

His musician collaborators ont he disc include Johnny Frigo, Loston Harris, Andy Ezrin, David Finck and Ben Wittman. In addition to his singing and recording career, Donahue appeared in the world premieres of The Ballad of Little Jo at the Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago, directed by Tina Landau, and What the World Needs Now at the Old Globe Theatre, directed by Gillian Lynne. He also worked with Landau on the national tour of Adam Guettel's Floyd Collins. PS Classics goes into the recording studio April 26 to capture the Broadway revival cast of Fiddler on the Roof for cast album release in summer.
