II is the second album by the Spanish power metal band Lords of Black, released on March 18, 2016, under Italian record label Frontiers Records. All lyrics written by Tony Hernando; all music composed by Tony Hernando, except where noted. Ronnie Romero – Lead vocals. Tony Hernando - Guitars, bass, additional Keyboards, synths and narrated voices. Andy C. (Andres Cobos) - Drums, piano. Victor Díez - Piano on "New Worlds Comin'", "Tears I Will Be", "Insane (Acoustic Version)" (additional).

Lords Of Black is a Spanish power metal band formed in Madrid in 2014 by guitarist Tony Hernando, singer Ronnie Romero, drummer Andy C. and bassist Dani Criado. Tony Hernando, renowned rock guitarist, as a solo artist and also a guitarist and co-producer of the Saratoga group between 2007 and 2013, founded (with Ronnie Romero) Lords Of Black, with a truly modern sounding metal yet classic, progressive and melodic style approach.

This is by far the best metal album by a new band from the 21st century, with the only competition coming from the masterpiece that was their first record. They are the next Dream Theater/Dio/Rainbow/Iron Maiden, but with a definite modern feel. This album represents why metal music is so epic, powerful, and amazing.

When I first heard the record I had a big grim on my face, I said yes this is what I want to hear in a band, the first song Merciless has driving double kick drums, the frenetic guitar work by Tony Hernando but the rhythm section by Javi and Andy C added depth,added power and not forgotten Ronnie Romero his vocal power was something I have not heard since Dio and Bruce Dickinson , the record continues it's fast hard driving pace, I love the entire record, Cry No More is tribute to the late great Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy, one of several songs that I love to crank in the car, is Only One Life Away, but put on Shadows of War, Tony Hernando takes your ear drums to another level, this is must get record in your collection, this band is the real deal, the musicianship on this record is on another level, just brilliant

Mitynarit

Good Album, but not as good as their first Album. Bonus Tracks, two Cover Songs, from Queen and Rainbow. Great Vocals (Romero, their Singer, also sings in the Rainbow Band for the Reunion. I would give a 6,5 out of 10!
