When Ridley Scott's Gladiator singularly revived the old Hollywood "Sword & Sandals" genre in 2000, it also propelled composer Hans Zimmer's rousing score onto every movie trailer that followed in its wake, so it's surprising to find the prolific - but relatively unknown - Harry Gregson-Williams taking the reins on Scott's similarly themed 12th century Crusades epic Kingdom of Heaven

Long-lost album of 1979. com once said: Subtitled "A Musical Fantasy," Winds of Change was yet another conceptual effort by the prolific Euro-disco producer Alec R. Costandinos. Nowhere near as acclaimed or successful as his landmark Romeo & Juliet album, Winds of Change was arranged and conducted by Raymond Knehnetsky, the same guy who collaborated with Costandinos on the 1978 Paris Connection project. The soundtrack to a Sanrio animated movie based on stories by Ovid, narrated by Peter Ustinov. The title instrumental takes up the entire first side, and he works up a complex suite - with sections ranging from guitar-driven disco to Vangelis-like string stylings - out of a very simple main theme.

But to explain just how good this album is, it replaced Lord of the Rings Soundtracks to be my new favourite-something I thought would never happen, being both a major Tolkein and Howard Shore fangirl. But this album was simply enchanting and introduced me to a new genre of Arabic music through Natacha Atlas's addition to the album (Light of Ibelin Reprise). So, if you are at all interested in dark cathedral hymns, Arabic music, or the wonderful Natacha Atlas, get this soundtrack. It is amazingly worth it.

The Kingdom Of The Winds, also called The Land of Wind (Hangul: 바람의 나라), is a 2008 South Korean historical drama, broadcast on KBS from 10 September 2008 to 15 January 2009. It is set during the Three Kingdoms period, and features fictionalized portrayals of several historical figures from that era. It was directed by Kang Il-soo, written by Choi Wan-gyu, Jung Jin-ok, and Park Jin-woo, and adapted from a manhwa by Kim Jin.
