The Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra (Slovak: Symfonický orchester Slovenského rozhlasu), previously known as Czecho-Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra and CSR Symphony Orchestra, is a symphony orchestra based in Bratislava, Slovakia. Founded in 1929 to serve Slovak Radio, the orchestra became particularly associated with the music of Slovak composers, notably Alexander Moyzes, Eugen Suchoň and Ján Cikker.

FRENCH FESTIVAL by Ondrej Lenard. This product is manufactured on demand using CD-R recordable media. com's standard return policy will apply. Unlike the Spanish and Italian Festivals in the same series, Naxos' French Festival presents music by indigenous composers (unless one counts Jacques Offenbach as a German). Chabrier's 'Joyeuse marche' with which the disc begins is an almost over-lively piece with some brash brass and provides a stark contrast to the mostly tender, wistful and gentle music which is to follow.
