Dub Be Good to Me" is a 1990 single by British dub group Beats International featuring singer Lindy Layton, released on 29 January 1990. It was a hit in the United Kingdom, and hit on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play in the United States. It is generally considered the band's signature song. Dub Be Good to Me" was written by Beats International frontman Norman Cook. It interprets The SOS Band's "Just Be Good to Me" (1983), which it is named after

Damn it feels good to be a gangsta Feeding the poor and helping out with their bills Although I was born in Jamaica Now I'm in the . making deals Damn it feels good to be a gangsta I mean one that you don't really know Riding around town in a drop-top Benz Hitting switches.

Already a staple of the rap community as a popular fashion brand, Fubu extended its reach beyond fashion in late 2001, releasing its first compilation of rap music, FB Entertainment Presents: The Good Life. Released through Universal, Fubu's roster of performers includes a few big names - Nate Dogg, Nas, Ludacris, LL Cool J, Keith Murray, Beenie Man, Erick Sermon - and a lot of no-name artists. Yet, surprisingly, it's many of these no-name artists that offer the album highlights. In particular, Mr. Cheeks and Drunken Master steal the spotlight. Joel Campbell, Nathaniel Hale, Allen Gordon, J. Nas.

As for the music? The listener will of course be swept along on a wave of nostalgia – Russ Ballard is BACK! There is no denying that the lead track ‘Time Machine’ has all the hallmarks – with a great chorus that will work its way into your head and a retro sixties vibe. But elsewhere, this does sound a fairly rudimentary rock album perhaps lacking an overall continuity. Out of this world Pretty damn fine OK, approach with caution unless you are a fan of the band or genre Instant bargain bin fodder Ugly, just ugly.

Woke up in London yesterday Found myself in the city near Piccadilly Don't really know how I got here I got some pictures on my phone. New names and numbers that I don't know Address to places like Abbey Road Day turns to night, night turns to whatever we want We're young enough to say. Oh this has gotta be the good life This has gotta be the good life This could really be a good life, good life. Say oh, got this feeling that you can't fight Like this city is on fire tonight This could really be a good life A good, good life
