Ain't That Lonely Yet. Artist: Dwight Yoakam. Album: This Time, 2009. Lyrics: You keep calling me On the telephone You say you're all alone Well that's real sad And you keep leavin' Notes stuck on my door Guess you're hungry for some more Girl that's too bad. Cuz I ain't that lonely yet No I ain't that lonely yet After what you put me through Oh I ain't that lonely yet. Once there was this Spider in my bed I got caught up in her web Of love and lies She put her chains Around my heart and soul Never to let go Oh but I survived. Dwight Yoakam quotes. I played music and sang from my earliest memories. The first pictures of me show me wandering around with a guitar that was larger than I was, and it became almost second nature to me. Now playing: Imagine Dragons Natural.

Produced by Pete Anderson. Ain't That Lonely Yet Lyrics. You keep callin' me On the telephone You say you're all alone Well that's real sad. And you keep leavin' Notes stuck on my door Guess you're hungry for some more Girl that's too bad. 'Cause I ain't that lonely yet No, I ain't that lonely yet After what you put me through Oh, I ain't that lonely yet. Once there was this Spider in my bed I got caught up in her web Of love and lies

Yoakam released an independent EP, A Town South of Bakersfield, in 1984, which received substantial airplay on Los Angeles college and alternative radio stations. The EP also helped him land a record contract with Reprise Records. Dwight's full-length debut album, Guitars, Cadillacs, Et. Et. was released in 1986 and was an instant sensation. Rock and country critics praised it and it earned airplay on college stations across America. This Time, released in the spring of 1993, was an even bigger hit, spawning three number two singles - "Ain't That Lonely Yet," "A Thousand Miles from Nowhere," and "Fast as You" - and going platinum. After its release, Yoakam was silent for two years, returning in the summer of 1995 with Dwight Live, which didn't set the charts on fire.

The song was recorded by Dwight Yoakam and released as the lead-off single to his This Time album. Kostas was writing with Dwight a couple of weeks later and played him the cassette work demo we did," House recalled. If I remember right it was recorded fairly soon and released within a couple of months. The song earned Yoakam his first Grammy award, which he won for Best Male Country Vocal Performance.
